An extensive electrical upgrade performed on a New Age Big Red caravan for clients nearing retirement who plan to travel Australia extensively. The original caravan electrical system, including a BM Pro HA 35 unit, was entirely removed and replaced with a more robust Outech OffGrid Power Package. This upgrade features 2200 watts of solar, a 620 amp battery, and a 3000 watt inverter to support continuous use of two air conditioners, which now have soft starters. Additionally, a Simarine system was installed for comprehensive power and tank monitoring, alongside a wireless switching package for various controls. The renovation also included thermostat-controlled ventilation and a fan for the refrigerator to improve its performance in hot climates, creating a highly efficient and self-sufficient off-grid system for the owners.
