How Does The WiTi Anti-Theft System Work?
In an attempt to steal your caravan the WiTi detects movement using its highly sensitive gyroscope and sets off several anti-theft measures. Importantly the anti-theft system immediately applies the brakes to prevent the caravan from being towed, all the caravan external lights are activated and flash, and an alarm siren sounds at 105db. The siren ceases after 30 seconds, but the WiTi device will continue monitoring and repeating the cycle if movement is detected again.
WiTi Anti-Theft includes intrusion detection to detect an attempted break-in. A magnetic door switch and PIR sensor will trigger the alarm if the door is opened or movement is detected inside the caravan or trailer.
